The "Weather Winners" Highlights

Cities With The Toughest Weather * - To find the city with the toughest weather, a selection was made of 26 extreme weather categories, e.g., the coldest, wettest, windiest, etc. Points were assigned to the cities placing in the top ten of each grouping. St. John's NL and Gander NL were tops for the toughest weather. They made it in 13 categories, followed by Yellowknife, Timmins ON and Val-d'Or QC in eight, and Sydney NS, Corner Brook NL and Thompson MB in seven categories.
